Dreamius Smith is headed to coal country.
Butler Community College's leading rusher and former Heights' star offered an oral committment to West Virginia this morning.
In 2010, he initially signed a scholarship to the University of Kansas out of high school but did not academically qualify for the school, and had to go to Butler for two years to continue his career.
In his sophomore year with the Grizzlies, Smith has amassed 984 yards on 120 carries. His 17 touchdowns are third in the NJCAA.
Smith is a key element for the NJCAA #2 Grizzlies (12-0) on their undefeated season run. They will play #1 Iowa Western Community College on December 2nd in the NJCAA National title game.
