Smoky Valley beat Riley County, Bonner Springs, Thomas Moore Prep, Clay Center, and Sabetha to win the first Riley County Falcon Duals.
The Vikings were led by seniors, having six participating in the tournament.
"We had a great bunch of seniors and I am really proud of them," Viking head coach Ben Elliott said.
Senior Trevor Whittaker, competing in the 170 weightclass, beat number one ranked Gavin Grater in the match up between Smoky Vally and Riley County. He went on to win the rest of his rounds in the tournament.
"I knew it was going to be hard before I went out there," Whittaker said. "I knew who he was. I knew what I had to do to win. I had to wrestle smart and wrestle hard and not get thrown."
The Vikings next tournament will be on December 13th in Lincoln.
Bonner Springs came in second in the tournament and Sabetha took the third spot. Bonner Springs' Jonathan Blackwell and Aaron Puckett shared the title of most outstanding wrestler for the tournament.
