If Kansas State can beat Oklahoma State on Saturday, it will give the Wildcats their first conference title in 36 seasons.

The Wildcats moved up in the polls this weekend from 13th to 9th and will look to improve their already impressive 25-5, 14-3 record.  Oklahoma State has earned a 22-7, 12-5 record this season and they hold an 8-1 record against Kansas State at home in Gallagher-Iba Arena.

The last time these two teams met the 'Cats were spurred by Rodney McGruder's 26 second-half points.  He scored just two in the first half.  Kansas State also got a huge performance by Nino Williams in that game when he scored 17 points off the bench.

If the 'Cats win on Saturday, or if Kansas loses, Kansas State will secure at least a share of its first regular-season conference title since the 1976-77 team won the Big Eight crown with an 11-3 mark.

Game time is set for 12:47 pm on the Big 12 network.
