Wichita State (19-4, 8-3) looks to snap it's 2-game Missouri Valley Conference losing streak on Tuesday night as they travel to Southern Illinois (8-14, 1-10).
The Shockers dropped out of the AP Top 25 poll on Monday but are still ranked 22nd in the USA Today Coach's poll.
Wichita State beat Southern Illinois at Koch Arena earlier this season by a score of 82-76. That was the last time that the Shocker scored at least 80 points.
A win at Southern Illinois would give the Shockers their 20th win of the season making it the fourth straight season with 20 wins. That would be a school record.
The Shockers have made a living on the boards this season and are ranked 13th nationally in rebounding percentage. They're also ranked 30th in the nation in scoring defense.
Tuesday night's game tips off at 7pm in Carbondale.
