For the first time in 43 years the Wichita State baseball team suffered a 3-game sweep at home.  The Shockers lost 11-3 to Pittsburgh on Sunday, completing the sweep for the Panthers.

Tobin Mateychick took a beating in the first inning.  He lasted for just one out and gave up 2 hits and 6 earned runs, facing just 7 batters.

The Shockers' offense didn't fare much better, scoring just 3 runs on 5 hits.

Wichita State plays its first road game this coming Tuesday against Oral Roberts.
