Wichita nearly squandered a three goal lead but the Thunder were able to hang on and beat Quad City 4-3 on Friday night.

Ian Lowe started the scoring on a power play in the first period.  Ryan Flanigan added a goal in the early part of the second period to extend the lead and just four minutes later Les Reaney made it a 3-0 Wichita lead.

R.G. Flath scored what would end up being the game-winner in the third period.  Flath finished the game with his 100th pro assist and he's also now just 7 goals short of 100 in his career.

Wichita will finish up this short homestand Saturday night against Fort Worth.
