22nd ranked Kansas State score 42 points in the second half to beat Missouri State 51-9 at Bill Snyder Family Stadium on Saturday night.
After scoring just three field goals in the first half the Wildcats looked like a different team in the second. Their 42 points included the 2nd longest touchdown run in Kansas State history, a 95-yard rushing touchdown by John Hubert. That run is the longest touchdown run in the history of Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
Quarterback Collin Klein was 19 of 28 passing for 169 yards, 2 touchdowns and no interceptions. One of Klein's touchdown passes was to Wichita Northwest graduate, Chris Harper. Harper finished with 3 receptions for 28 yards and a touchdown.
Hubert led all rushers with 152 yards but Daniel Sams and Braden Wilson also added rushing touchdowns for K-State. Meanwhile, kicker Kapaun Mt. Carmel graduate Anthony Cantele was a perfect 3 of 3 on field goals and a perfect 6 of 6 on extra points.
Kansas State hosts the Unviersity of Miami next weekend.
