The fourth-seeded Pioneers advanced to their second NCAA tournament semifinal in three years courtesy of the Salisbury transfer's performance in Sunday's 12-11 win over fifth-seeded North Carolina. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound attackman recorded a game-best six points on three goals (on just three shots) and three assists; he scored the game-winning goal with 13 seconds left. Law helped Denver erase a 6-0 deficit in the first quarter, which is the largest comeback under coach Bill Tierney. The Pioneers became the first team to win in the quarterfinals after trailing by five goals or more.
