What Have We Learned?
Notre Dame — The Fighting Irish defense is Fort Knox, limiting Duke (three) and Penn State (four) to a combined seven goals. The system, orchestrated by defensive coordinator Gerry Byrne, is based on protecting the paint, switching and sliding without matchup concerns, and taking away space for dodgers. |
