Party like a Raven [Pictures]

We wondered how actual Ravens would take in a game, if, you know, they weren't playing in it. To be honest, before we asked, we expected to hear tales of decadence and excess. These, after all, are big guys, young guys, certainly the sorts of sports machines that know how to experience some football in style. But that's not exactly how the Ravens roll. Or at least that's not what they admit to when faced with a reporter scribbling it all down on a pad.

Players, it would seem, prefer to watch football in a much more subdued -- dare we say civilized? -- fashion than their fans, we crazies with our face paint, our beads, our bottomless kegs. Here's just what a few of them would do, if they were free. -- Jill Rosen

Because Williams is a Baltimore native, he knows all the best spots around town to take in a game. But even so, he'd prefer -- like so many of his teammates -- to watch the big game on his home turf. He'd take to his basement with his family, maybe a few friends -- no more than six or seven people, max.<br>

Everyone would settle onto the sofa in front of the big screen. Everyone is yelling at the screen, as if, Williams says, "they're out on the field and the players can hear them."<br>

The wide receiver would have gone to the store to stock up on chips -- there would be a big, big bowl of his favorite, sour cream and onion Ruffles. And he'd also have buffalo wings with "a LOT" of ranch dressing. His girlfriend makes the wings.<br>

But to drink, Williams would only serve juice and Kool-Aid. "People don't know how to act if beer's around," he says, laughing.
