KANSAS CITY, Mo. -

Dillon Everett's single in the bottom of the tenth scored the winning run as Missouri squeaked past Wichita State 5-4 in 10 innings.

The Shockers started off hot against Tigers' starter Alec Rash.  Garrett Bayliff and Chase Simpson each drove home runs to give Wichita State a 2-0 lead after the first inning.

Wichita State increased that lead to 3-1 with another RBI by Bayliff that scored Tanner Dearman.  Dearman beat the throw home to score the run.

A rough 6th inning pitching-wise let the Tigers back in the game.  Ray Ashford got tagged for three earned runs as Missouri took a 4-1 lead.

A sacrifice fly by Tyler Baker tied the game at 4 in the 8th inning and a beautiful 6-4-3 double-play in the bottom of that frame preserved the tie for the Shockers.

Casey Gillaspie finished a stout 4-5 for the Shockers with a run scored while Bayliff had 2 runs batted in.  Drew Palmer takes the loss for Wichita State.

The game was a part of the College Baseball Hall of Fame Classic at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City.
