Meteorologist Mark Larson says blue skies and dry weather are expected through week's end along with a few minor temperature swings through this weekend.
Tuesday afternoon look for sunny skies, light winds and it will be a bit warmer than Monday with highs topping out in the low to mid 80s.
Wednesday and Thursday will be a bit cooler as weak cold front sweeps into Kansas from the northeast. The front will pass through our area by Thursday afternoon but it will not bring any rain.
Highs will dip into the 70s Thursday and Friday then climb back to near 80 again this weekend.
We won't see any rain or storms for a while as our region is parked in a very quiet spot on the weather map with the wet stuff staying off to our north and west until early next week.
