Meteorologist Mark Larson says cool Canadian air hover over Kansas Thursday making it a fine fall day then look for a slow but steady warming trend to take us into our weekend.
Thursday will be a bit cooler than Wednesday with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s under a mostly sunny sky with low humidity and light winds, a very nice day.
Friday look for high clouds, light winds and highs in the low to mid 70s.
We'll enjoy dry weather this weekend and warmer temps too with highs soaring back to around 80 again by Sunday.
Early next week a storm system will march out into the central Plains pushing rain and storm chances back into our area by Tuesday along with a stiff south wind.
