This afternoon will bring a few passing clouds and afternoon highs ranging from the mid-40s to near 50 in western Kansas to around 40 degrees around Wichita. Snow covered areas around Concordia and north-central Kansas will only see chilly highs in the mid-30s. Winds will be out of the south and will be gusty at times this afternoon.

Warmer temps are moving back into our area this weekend as temperatures will be soaring into the 50s along lots of sunshine and lighter winds.

Kansas will remain in a dry spot on the weather map so no rain or snow is expected this weekend through most of next week.
