This afternoon's highs will only climb into the mid-30s to around 40 degrees under a mostly cloudy sky. A light dusting of snow will be possible in a few areas but heavy amounts are not expected. The snow will end Friday evening followed by a warming trend this weekend.
Temps will climb back into the mid-40s east and into mid-50s for western Kansas Saturday then soar to around 60 Sunday along with gusty southerly winds statewide.
Monday will bring a fast moving front back into our region sparking scattered showers/storms over eastern Kansas late in the day.

Tonight: Evening snow showers/flurries; clearing. Wind: NW 5-10. Low: 21.
Tomorrow: Sunny to partly cloudy and mild. Wind: NW/SW 10-20. High: 50.
Tomorrow night: Clearing. Wind: SW/S 5-15. Low: 28.
Sun: High: 62 Mostly sunny, windy and much warmer.
Mon: High: 51 Low: 37 Mostly cloudy, breezy; a few p.m. showers possible.
Tue: High: 46 Low: 26 Mostly sunny but cooler.
Wed: High: 52 Low: 25 Mostly sunny and breezy; scattered o-night storms.
Thu: High: 45 Low: 38 Cloudy, windy and colder; rain likely.
Fri: High: 42 Low: 27 Partly cloudy.
