The next system pushing out of the southwest United States will bring rain, some thunderstorms, and even a little bit of snow to far western Kansas.
As moisture begins to increase overnight, some areas of dense fog could develop in central and southcentral Kansas. A dense fog advisory is in effect for central and southern Kansas into Wednesday morning.
A mix of light freezing drizzle and snow is expected in northwest Kansas early Wednesday, and a winter weather advisory is in effect for the far northwest corner of the state. Showers and isolated storms will develop over much of the area early Wednesday and should be off and on into Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures will be in the 40s for most of the state, but should see some 50s in southcentral Kansas.
Sunshine is back for Thursday with temperatures near normal.
