The temperatures will be trending warmer for the start of the new week and should result in highs near normal for the next several days.
It will be chilly again overnight with lows in the mid 30s for most areas and patchy frost is expected by early Monday morning. The winds will be light.
Increasing southwest winds should be expected Monday afternoon with gusts to around 30 or 35 mph. Sunshine will be plentiful with highs nearing 70.
The next cold front will push into the area Tuesday, changing the winds back to the north. Temperatures will be in the mid 60s north to low 70s in southcentral Kansas. Dry weather will continue through midweek.
