We'll see clear skies overnight across Kansas and temperatures will be quite cold, especially in the snow-covered areas.  Lows will drop to single-digit territory in Goodland, Garden City and Dodge City.  Teens are expected for Wichita and El Dorado.

A few clouds will gather over southern Kansas Friday afternoon with highs in the 30s and 40s.  A quick moving weather system will pass over Kansas Friday night into early Saturday.  We wouldn't be surprised to see some light rain or snow in southeast Kansas Friday night but the rest of the state will have plenty of clouds and some patchy fog.

This weekend will warm up nicely with highs into the 40s.  Some 50s are possible early next week as a January thaw kicks in.
