After a chilly start to the week, temperatures will be trending upward through the middle of the week.
Temperatures in the overnight should drop into the teens statewide with light south winds. Some clouds may return to northern Kansas, but dry weather is expected.
Tuesday should be a little milder statewide with highs in the low 50s across the west, but stay in the low to mid 40s central and east. Southeast winds will remain under 20 mph and the skies will be sunny throughout the afternoon.
Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week with highs in the mid 50s.
Cooler temperatures will be on the way back for the end of the week.
