The mild weather should continue for the rest of the week and there is even a chance some parts of Kansas will see some rain midweek.

Overnight, skies will be mostly clear with lows in the mid 20s. The winds are expected to be light through the night.

Tuesday will be warmer with some locations in southern Kansas hitting 60. The rest of the central and northern Kansas will be in the upper 50s. The winds are expected to be light.

A cold front sliding into central Kansas Wednesday night will bring a chance for showers and a few thunderstorms to the area. The rainfall amounts will likely be less than .50" and severe weather is not expected.

Althought some lingering showers are possible Thursday morning, the heaviest activity will be east and south of Kansas.
