Sky conditions will vary between partly cloudy and mostly cloudy overnight. Breezy conditions will continue over the western sections of the state. Lows will drop to the 30s.
South winds will pick back up on Saturday across central and western Kansas with speeds of 20-35 mph with some gusts to 45 mph. A Wind Advisory is in effect for this part of Kansas. Statewide highs will reach the 50s.
There will be a few rain showers in central Kansas early in the afternoon. More widespread showers and thunderstorms will develop in the west late in the afternoon and spread eastward overnight. Some of those storms could be strong, producing winds up to 50-55 mph and some small hail up to dime size.
There will also be a chance for some light snow in far northwest Kansas overnight into early Sunday. Any accumulation will be very light, under an inch.
