Another big snowstorm is ready to move through Kansas with gusty winds and blizzard conditions. Travel will be difficult through early afternoon Tuesday.
Overnight, snow is likely for much of the state, except in south central Kansas where some rain and freezing rain may occur after midnight. Temperatures will fall into the 20s and low 30s overnight.
The mix of rain and snow will change to all snow for Wichita Monday morning, with snow likely for central and western Kansas. Strong north winds will cause significant blowing snow through the afternoon and evening hours.
Snow will continue Monday night, but should be ending in the west. Near blizzard conditions should be expected, especially in south central and eastern Kansas.
The snow will end early Tuesday, but temperatures will be chilly.
