Friday afternoon will bring mostly sunny skies, gusty northerly winds and very warm temperatures followed by a shot of much cooler Canadian air this weekend this weekend.

As front settles in gusty northerly winds will crank-up but the cooler temps will not push in right away so expect Friday afternoon highs rainding from the lower-80s across norther Kansas to near 90 degrees near the Oklahoma border.

A fall-like feel to the air will prevail this weekend with afternoon highs in the upper-60s and low to mid-70s statewide.

Most of next week temperatures will heating up again as afternoon highs return to the low to mid-80s. Our shower and storm chances will be rising by Tuesday and Wednesday.
