It's called a 'convenience store' for a reason. Area Quik Trip stores will remain open 24 hours., no matter what the weather.
The store on Hillside near Kellogg is one of the busiest convenience stores in town. And with the snowy weather, managers are expecting to be even more busy Monday night.
That's why the store stocked up on milk, eggs and other items which have been hard to find in some grocery stores. Trucks come from Kansas City, so when roads get rough restocking shelves can be more difficult.
"You run out, you probably can't get an ice scraper in this town right now, ice melt, anything its just hard to get. I mean you restock it as fast as you can, but at some point especially now we are just out of those things," said store manager David Hurst.
One thing Quik Trip is not out of is gas. Many people stopped on their way home to fill up, just to make sure they didn't have to fill up in blizzard like conditions.
