Breezy, as a powerful storm system moves through Kansas this afternoon. The potential for severe weather is greatest between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m., with large hail, high winds and even an isolated tornado or two in the strongest storms. A "slight risk" area is outlined in "yellow" and indicates the area most likely to experience severe storms later today. Temperatures on will reach the 70s and lower 80s.
Decreasing clouds overnight in the wake of this system. Lows dropping the 40s and 50s. Sunday is looking pretty nice, with plenty of sunshine and highs in the 70s.
Warm weather will continue early in the work week, with a gradual cool down for the second half.
