JEFFERSON CITY, M.O. (WPIX)—He did not have to go far to buy the winning ticket.
A Missouri convenience store clerk won the $258 million Powerball jackpot after he bought the winning ticket in the store he works in.
Chris Shaw, a 29-year-old father of three, says he will use his winnings to pay bills and take his children to Disney World.
He came forward Thursday to claim the 10th largest Powerball jackpot prize ever.
Shaw, who recently had less than $30 in his bank account, has not decided if he will quit his job at the convenience store.
