Thanksgiving looks pleasant
Passing clouds and seasonal temperatures statewide
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that skies will be clear overnight and although we will have some passing clouds on Thanksgiving, dry weather is expected.
Temperatures will be quite cold early Thursday with lows in the 20s and low 30s, but the afternoon highs will recover into the low 50s for much of the area. The wind will be shifting to the north as another cold front slowly tracks through the area.
Shoppers will have sunny skies on Friday with highs in the 50s once again.
A weekend storm may get close to Kansas in the upcoming weekend, but other than a few sprinkles, it will not likely be a major storm. Travel conditions shouldn’t be that rough, but if you are headed south into Oklahoma, you may encounter some better chances for rain. Look for temperatures to turn a bit colder by the end of the weekend.
