WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The Wichita Police Department is investigating a homicide after a man was fatally shot Wednesday morning (Nov. 25) in south Wichita. Police identified the man killed as 50-year-old Kamilu Boyede, of Wichita.

At about 11 a.m. Wednesday, police said officers responded to check a residence in the 600 block of South Ida,

“A neighbor reported to 911 that the victim’s door to his residence was open. Upon arrival, officers made entry into the residence and located Boyede deceased with multiple gunshot wounds,” police said.
