TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - State Treasurer-appointee Lynn Rogers and Lieutenant Governor-appointee David Toland were sworn in Monday morning at the Kansas Statehouse.

Governor Laura Kelly spoke briefly before Lynn Rogers was sworn in as the new State Treasurer. His ceremony took place at 11 a.m. in the Statehouse. Watch Rogers’ swearing-in HERE.

Shortly, after Rogers’ ceremony, Commerce Secretary David Toland was sworn in as the 52nd Lieutenant Governor of Kansas at 11:30 a.m. Watch his swearing-in HERE. Both Rogers and Toland thanked Gov. Kelly in their remarks and then talked about their plans for their new roles in state government.
