Building You: Crosswinds Casino continues hiring more people

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The newest casino in Sedgwick County is hiring for more people to fill various roles.

Crosswinds Casino opened its doors earlier this month and continues to have job openings for part-time and full-time positions.

“We always look for great people with a smile. and just individuals who want to come to work every single day and just have fun at work,” said Alexandria Rodriguez, human resources manager for Crosswinds Casino.

You must be 21 and older to apply. And, there is an added benefit for full-time employees.

“Full-time employees, your health, dental and vision are paid for by the Wyandotte Tribe. That’s an amazing asset here that we also tell individuals,” said

Crosswinds Casino will host a job fair at Hartman Arena in Park City, Thursday, March 18th, 2pm-6pm.

You must bring a resume and wear a mask.

Crosswinds Casino has openings for the following roles:

Cage Cashiers

  • Accurately balances assigned banks, cashes chips, tickets, checks and other transactions in a courteously, timely manner.

Slot Attendants

  • Anticipates customer needs by continually monitoring the floor.
  • Welcomes all guests providing an exciting, fun, energetic and friendly atmosphere.
  • Monitors the operation of slot machines and participates in payouts based on policy and procedure.

Security Officers

  • Accepts identification from all persons who appear to be under the legal age to ensure compliance with state and federal gaming regulations.
  • Escorts and observes customers and employees to ensure their safety and protection, according to Gaming Commission and company policies and procedures

Food & Beverage (Deli Cooks, Bartenders, Cashiers and Beverage Servers)

Housekeeping

  • Dusts, sweeps, mops, scrubs, vacuum, empties wastebaskets and cleans assigned areas
  • Cleans bathrooms, scrubs, waxes and strips floors, as assigned
  • Cleans machines; empties and cleans ashtrays.

Players Club Representatives

  • Encourages new quests to become members of Players Club
  • Enrolls new guests into Players Club
  • Redeems points for Players Club members

Pull Count Team

  • Assists in slot drop pick-ups & counting money
