Breezy and much cooler Tuesday
Lighter winds in the days ahead
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Meteorologist Peyton Sanders says that winds will remain gusty overnight, but they will begin to turn lighter in the days ahead.
A strong cold front will switch the winds around to the north overnight, and they will remain breezy throughout the day Tuesday. Gusts up to 30 mph are expected, but it will not be nearly as gusty as today.
Temperatures will also be much cooler behind the front with highs only in the 50s Tuesday under partly cloudy skies.
Cooler weather will continue into Wednesday with highs in the 50s again before we warm up into the 60s by the end of the week.
Easter weekend looks breezy and warm with highs in the 70s.
