WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that Kansas will be in for a few more cool days with showers most widespread across the west. Some areas will pick up more than an inch of rain, while farther east, the amounts will decrease to below .50″

Early Tuesday, temperatures will be down in the 40s with rainy weather expected. Highs will only be able to reach the 50s with more chances for showers across much of the state. Northeast winds will be under 20 mph.

Look for the rain to end Tuesday night, but clouds and cool weather linger into Wednesday. Highs will only be around 60 for midweek, but should start warming up nicely by Thursday and Friday.

Tomorrow: Cloudy with rain showers. Wind: NE 5-15. High: 56.

Tomorrow night: Evening showers ending, then cloudy. Wind: NE 5-15. Low: 45.
