Wet weather continues Tuesday
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Meteorologist Jake Dunne says it is going to be another wet and cool day across Kansas. Light to moderate rain this morning will taper off into showers this afternoon before ending tonight. Additional rainfall will be around half an inch or less.
May (temperatures) will remain MIA today. Highs in the lower to middle 50s are roughly 20 degrees colder than normal. After a chilly night in the lower to middle 40s, we get a slightly warmer Wednesday in the lower 60s.
Warmer weather is back on Thursday and Friday as we climb into the 70s. Highs in the 80s return this weekend, but so does the chance of showers and storms. Like last weekend, most of the storms will take place late in the day and overnight.
