Low humidity, sunny and mild Friday
A break from storms for the next couple of days
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Meteorologist Peyton Sanders says that after several days of active weather, rain chances will be low over the next couple of days.
A cold front will exit the state this evening, bringing lower humidity overnight and through the day Friday.
It will be a much cooler start Friday with morning temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Afternoon highs will reach the low to mid 70s with plenty of sunshine and light winds.
Highs will remain in the lower 70s on Saturday with low humidity again. A few storms will begin to develop over eastern Colorado during the evening with this activity moving into western Kansas Saturday night.
Showers and storms will continue mainly over western Kansas on Sunday before moving east into central Kansas by Sunday night. With the clouds and rain, high temperatures will only reach the mid 60s to lower 70s Sunday.
Chances for showers and storms will continue into Memorial Day. The risk of any severe weather is low with the storm chances over the Memorial Day weekend.
