TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - With COVID-19 pandemic guidance easing back as more residents get vaccinated, jobs and the economy are opening back up, but finding a job could be more difficult.

WalletHub.com says job hunting is never easy, but with the COVID-19 pandemic, the process has been made more difficult. It said it recently conducted a study to find the most attractive states for employment, and Kansas made the top 10. It said the data used include employment growth, median annual income and average commute time and it compared the results against each state.

According to WalletHub, Kansas has ranked as the seventh-best state for jobs. It said the Sunflower State ranked seventh for the job market and 15th for the economic environment with a total score of 62.49.
