Humidity drops statewide Saturday
It is still a warm/hot forecast, but just not as muggy
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says it won’t be as muggy for the weekend but temperatures are still forecast to be quite warm for a good part of the state.
Expect sunshine for Saturday afternoon as temperatures climb to the upper 80s and possibly hitting 90 in a few areas. Winds will be out of the east or northeast and should be less than 20 mph. A slight chance for a few isolated storms will exist for southwest Kansas Saturday night, but it will be on a hit and miss basis.
It will be rather warmer again Sunday with highs approaching 90. Any chance of a stray shower or storm at the end of the weekend will be limited to far western Kansas.
Next week is shaping up to be another hot week for Kansas.
