Woman arrested after three shot in Old Town

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - UPDATE

A 22-year-old woman was arrested Saturday morning for a shooting in Old Town.

Tyra Adair was arrested on three charges of aggravated battery.

Wichita Police said just before 1 a.m. Saturday, officers patrolling in Old Town heard multiple gunshots from inside Rock Island Live. Officers arrived to find a large number of people leaving the nightclub.

A 22-year-old woman was shot in the upper arm, and a 22-year-old man was shot in the upper torso. Another 22-year-old female arrived in the hospital after being shot in the foot.

Wichita Police said Adair was involved in a fight with several other women. Adair then pulled out a gun and fired several rounds.

Investigators said at this point, it is not believed the people who were hit by the gunshot were involved in the fight and were innocent bystanders.

Adair was arrested nearby with the gun on her.

Dispatch confirms shooting at Rock Island Live Club in Old Town shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday morning.

According to dispatch, two people are in critical condition following the shooting. We will update you as we learn more.
