Wesley Medical Center installs dedicated water line to maintain operations during boil-water advisory

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Wesley Medical Center has installed a dedicated drinkable water line on its campus that is allowing tanker trucks to deliver clean, fresh water directly to the hospital.

It enables uninterrupted patient care and hospital operations during Wichita’s boil-water advisory.

Wesley Healthcare’s parent company, HCA Healthcare, provided the resources and emergency response support necessary to establish the water line and ensure ongoing tanker deliveries.

The new connection also aids the hospital’s emergency preparedness for any future water disruptions.
