Lily is grateful for the opportunity to continue telling stories in her hometown of Wichita.
In June 2020, she joined the Eyewitness News team as the co-anchor for the 4pm newscast and multimedia reporter for KWCH.
Lily brings nearly a decade of reporting experience from her time at the local ABC affiliate, where she was an award-winning reporter for nine years and a Saturday morning anchor for two years.
She earned a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Hong Kong, while serving as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. Lily grew up in Wichita, and attended Wichita State University, where she earned the distinction of Summa Cum Laude, graduating with two bachelor’s degrees in international business and integrated marketing communication.
Lily is dedicated to serving her community as an active volunteer on various non-profit organization boards.
She is the director of the Miss Wichita Asian Festival Scholarship Pageant, board member and past president of the Wichita Asian Association, community advisor for the National Association of Asian American Professionals in Wichita, board member of the WSU Alumni Association, and board member of the Steve Clark YMCA.
She was named the “2020 Exceptional Young Leader” by the Wichita Chamber of Commerce and a “2015 Leader in Diversity” by the Wichita Business Journal.
She was involved in pageantry and placed Fourth-Runner-Up at the Miss Global 2017 pageant held in Cambodia, won the title of Miss Kansas United States 2012, and represented the USA at Miss World University and Miss Chinese World.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and puppy, traveling, trying new foods and restaurants with friends, and cheering for the Shockers.
