Shane Konicki joined KWCH in 2008 as part of the KSCW Crew - a fun, community-driven team that hosted a weekly talk-show spotlighting local businesses.
Fast-forward to 2020, Shane now co-anchors Eyewitness News This Morning with Natalie Davis and Meteorologist, Jake Dunne!
When he’s not in the studio, Shane also does KWCH’s Where’s Shane segment, an on-location, live segment for Eyewitness News This Morning. He travels all over Kansas highlighting fun, local events, and gets to try exciting, new things along the way! On the segment he’s eaten bugs, zip-lined, chainsaw wood carved, ridden bulls, eaten LOTS of food, and much more!
Shane grew up here in Wichita. He’s a graduate of the Maize school district and received his degree from Wichita State University.
When he’s not at KWCH, Shane loves spending time with his wife, Meredith, and their Golden Retriever, Maggie. He also has a passion for film, and loves creating movies with a local film group!
