PUBLIC STORM SHELTERS LISTING (for KDCU)

Several of you have asked about public tornado shelters. While there are none in the City of Wichita, several surrounding cities do have public shelters. Some churches have also told us they are opening their doors to the public. You can find the list below.

City of Maize:

> Maize Community Building Basement (Maize City Park, 401 S. Khedive) - Enter on the lower level, east side of building.

> Maize City Hall Basement (10100 W Grady Ave) - Enter by the flag poles.

City of El Dorado:

>Tornado Watch/Warning: The Basement of City Hall (220 E. 1st)

> Tornado Warning: The Senior Center (210 E. 2nd) or Fire Station 2 (2600 W. 6th)

City of Dodge City:

>Dodge City Community College Student Activity Center (dome), 3-10 p.m.

Glenn Park Christian Church:
