2 arrested after vehicles, property stolen from Wichita business

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) Two men are arrested, accused of stealing vehicles and other property from Wichita businesses.

The Wichita Police Department says 50-year-old Jamie Lambert and 38-year-old Charles Bogguess were arrested on several counts each of possession of stolen property.

Police responded to a burglary call at Gerber Collision and Glass in the 5600 block of W. Kellogg at around 9:00 Monday morning.

The business had been burglarized overnight, and someone made off with tow vehicles and tools valued at around $68,000.

The investigation led officers to a home in the 3700 block of N. Armstrong, where police took Lambert and Bogguess into custody without incident.

Officers were able to recover all of the stolen property and both vehicles from Gerber Collision. Officers also found a third stolen vehicle, along with a stolen skid loader and trailer.

The investigation is still underway.
