2 hurt in south Wichita drive-by shooting

Wichita police say they are still searching for suspects after a drive-by shooting leaves two people hurt Tuesday evening.

The shooting happened at a home in the 1500 block of E. Fortuna around 7:00 p.m. Police say two men, ages 20 and 29, had gunshot wounds to the leg. Police say their injuries are not life-threatening.

Investigators say the two men were in the front yard with a 24-year-old man they knew. They told police a dark-colored SUV drove by and someone inside fired multiple shots.

Police have not yet identified any suspects. If you have any information, call police.
Police say two men suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a drive-by shooting in south Wichita Tuesday night.

Officers were called to the 1500 block of E. Fortuna, near Hydraulic and I-135, around 7:07 p.m.

They arrived to find two men with gunshot wounds to their legs.

Police say this was not a random incident.
