Police say officers were dispatched to a disturbance with a possible suicidal person at 711 E. 10th St. around 10 a.m.
Prior to officers arriving, the person who called 911 reported hearing a gunshot from inside the residence.
Once police arrived on the scene, they set up a perimeter and tried to contact a man inside the residence but were unable to.

Members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) were called to the scene. After all attempts of communication failed, they went into the home and found a man dead with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
