Lightning-packed storms move through south-central Kansas

Reno County dispatchers say the person who was reportedly struck by lightning refused treatment.

A storm system moving into south-central isn't expected to produce much severe weather but it is packed with lightning.

Already, we've received reports of a person being struck by lightning near S. Valley Pride Road and W. Sun City Road in Reno County.

Crews in Harper County are responding to an oil battery fire at SW 90th and SW 30th Avenue following a possible lightning strike.

Eyewitness News has crews headed to Reno County and we're monitoring the situation in Harper County.
