Amelia Earhart home movies discovered
For 80 years, history buffs have been trying to solve the mystery of Amelia Earhart.
Nine years before her disappearance, she got a hero's welcome near Rochester, New York.
Mike West, a film collector, bought a bunch of items from an estate, included was a box of Kodak film and notes that included the name of Amelia Earhart.
One of the films, taken in either late 192e or early 1929, shows Earhart speaking into a radio microphone with the call letters WFBI - that's Syracuse - at an airport in Leroy, New York.
A local archivist is now preserving the film which includes the priceless 30-second clip of Earhart.
