Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that as temperatures begin to warm back up, another cold front will move through the area Tuesday evening with chances for storms. A midweek cool down is on the way for the area too.
Low temperatures early Tuesday will be in the 50s with partly cloudy skies. Heading into the afternoon, a few showers may pop up north of I-70 as temperatures warm to near 80 degrees. The best chances for scattered rain and storms will happen during the evening hours, but severe storms are not likely on a widespread basis. Most of the rain will move out by midnight.
Gusty north winds and cool temperatures will be widespread on Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
