WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) The City of Wichita has a new council member.
The city council voted Becky Tuttle as District 2 councilwoman.
Tuttle will replace Councilman Pete Meitzner, who was elected to the Sedgwick County Commission in November. His last day is Saturday, January 12.
Tuttle was among five candidates the District 2 Advisory Board submitted for council members to vote upon.
She will be sworn in next Tuesday, January 15.
