No injuries reported in explosion at Rice County plant

We've heard from several people in Rice, Reno and Ellsworth counties who reported feeling an explosion reported near Bushton.

The Sterling fire chief tells us there was an explosion at the ONEOK plant Tuesday night, but there are no reports of injuries. The chief says the explosion happened in an empty building which is used for records. That building was leveled in the blast.

We've heard from callers who say they felt the blast from as far away as Hutchinson, about 56 miles from Bushton.

The Rice County Sheriff says there is no danger to the public.
