WICHITA, Kan. Crime Stoppers is seeking tips on two recent armed robberies to Wichita businesses currently being investigated by the Wichita Police Department (WPD).

The first armed robbery occurred at approximately 9:55 p.m. on Monday April 1, at the Dollar General located in the 4500 block of E. Pawnee.
The suspect entered the store, displayed a silver handgun, and demanded cash from two employees. He then left the store and ran to the west. The suspect was described as a light-skinned male, 6 feet tall, 240 lbs. He was wearing a blue hoodie, dark jeans, a black and white mask, gray gloves with skeleton bones, and dark shoes. He also had a cross tattoo at the corner of his left eye. There were no injuries during this incident.
The second robbery occurred at approximately 4:45 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, at the Kwik Shop in the 500 block of South Oliver. The suspect entered the store and displayed a small silver handgun to the clerk. He then motioned for the clerk to open the register but did not speak. The suspect took cash from the register and walked away casually to the east of the business. He was described as a black male, 5’10”, and 160 lbs. He was wearing a black hoodie with a sleeveless black coat.
